From healthcare commercialization to Hamptons nightlife and New York culture, Richie Hosein has built a career that refuses to stay inside one lane.

Some entrepreneurs build their careers by becoming specialists in one world. Richie Hosein has built his by learning how to connect several.

Healthcare. Artificial intelligence. Hospitality. Nightlife. Media. Marketing. Entrepreneurship.

At first glance, the industries might appear unrelated. For Hosein, however, the connecting thread has always been people.

A serial entrepreneur and healthcare executive, Hosein has spent more than two decades developing businesses and relationships across industries, from medical technology and life sciences to hospitality and media.

How Richie Hosein Built His Healthcare Career

Long before entering executive suites, Richie Hosein showed signs of entrepreneurial ambition. While attending college, he founded a sports marketing company, an early venture that set the tone for the decades that followed.

After graduating #2 in his class from St. John’s University with a Bachelor in Management, Hosein entered healthcare through Pfizer. He quickly became a standout commercial performer, ranking #1 nationally in sales and earning both Rookie of the Year recognition and the Vice President’s Cabinet Award.

He later joined Empire Surgical, a Johnson & Johnson sports medicine distributor in New York. Joining as its sixth team member, Hosein worked closely with surgeons, hospital administrators, and health systems across Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn. That period of rapid expansion, which he helped lead and operationalize, ended with the company’s exit back to Johnson & Johnson.

He subsequently helped scale a compounding pharmacy through its growth and eventual acquisition.

But healthcare represents only one side of the Richie Hosein story.

From Healthcare to the Hamptons

Richie Hosein has also been an active figure in hospitality and nightlife.

He is a co-founder of Etiquette Management Group, an investor in 1OAK Southampton, and founder of AM Southampton, which was widely regarded during its operation as one of the largest nightlife venues in the Hamptons.

His ability to combine business strategy with experiential hospitality became particularly visible in 2019, when he was brought in to help reposition Playboy Club NYC.

That project reflected an approach Hosein has applied throughout his career. He enters a business, identifies what is missing, and builds the partnerships, positioning, and commercial energy it needs to grow.

His presence across entertainment and culture has continued alongside his work in healthcare and technology, including appearances in high-profile New York business, fashion, hospitality, and media environments.

Building the Future

Today, Richie Hosein is increasingly focused on the intersection of entrepreneurship and technology.

After serving as Chief Growth Officer at Thinkhat Venture Studio from March 2024 through August 2025, where he led commercialization, partnerships, growth strategy, and capital formation for AI ventures, he is now building his own venture studio.

The studio focuses on three core verticals: healthcare, hospitality, and marketing and business architecture. Those areas mirror the worlds Hosein has spent decades working across.

Among the studio’s ventures is FreeHealth.ai, an AI-driven digital health companion designed to connect diagnostics, patient intake, laboratory information, imaging, and insurance navigation.

Another is 1nfluenc3 Media, a creative marketing and media platform combining public relations, social media, events, talent, media, and digital growth.

Hosein is also co-founder and board president of the Global Healthcare Leaders Foundation, an invite-only nonprofit community born from his Harvard Medical School Global Healthcare Leadership Program capstone.

The organization now connects more than 100 healthcare leaders, clinicians, investors, innovators, and policymakers.

Community building shapes his newest project as well. In 2026, Hosein co-founded SOCIAL8, an invitation-only membership community for entrepreneurs, creators, investors, and brands, which launched with a series of private gatherings in the Hamptons.

For Hosein, those connections are not simply networking.

They are infrastructure.

His career suggests that some of the most interesting opportunities appear when industries that normally operate separately begin communicating with one another.

Healthcare can learn from hospitality about experience.

Technology can learn from healthcare about human need.

Media can accelerate business visibility.

And relationships can transform an idea into an opportunity.

From pharmaceutical sales and surgical technology to AI, nightlife, media, and venture building, Richie Hosein’s career has never followed a conventional script.

Perhaps that is precisely the point.

As more industries overlap and borrow from one another, Hosein has built his career around being where those worlds meet.
