Lawrence’s Makeup Transformations and Jenner’s Cosmetic Journey
Jennifer Lawrence firmly dismisses recent speculations about undergoing plastic surgery. In a conversation with Kylie Jenner for Interview Magazine, Lawrence, aged 33, credited makeup for her transformed appearance. She humorously referred to her makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, as a “plastic surgeon” due to his skill in overlining lips, which led people to believe she had undergone eye surgery.
Lawrence clarified, “I didn’t have eye surgery. I’m doing makeup.” Jenner, 26, echoed this sentiment, admiring the transformative power of makeup. Despite rumors, Lawrence insisted she hasn’t had any surgery, jesting about having “full plastic surgery.” Jenner, known for her cosmetic enhancements, admitted to only having lip fillers. She expressed frustration over comparisons between her current look and her appearance at age 12, dismissing claims of having her jaw or eyelids surgically altered.
Both Lawrence and Jenner agreed that natural aging significantly alters one’s appearance. Lawrence highlighted the changes in her facial features from age 19 to 30, attributing them to growing up and losing baby weight, not to plastic surgery. “Everybody thought I had a nose job, and I’m like, ‘I’ve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up,'” she remarked.
In addition to addressing these rumors, the pair delved into various topics, including their careers and motherhood. Jenner shared insights into launching Kylie Cosmetics “from the ground up,” with no prior experience in makeup line creation. She recalled the initial struggles, including fears of being left with unsold lip kits. Jenner’s venture, however, witnessed immense success, generating $900 million since its inception in November 2015. She described the overwhelming response at launch, leading her and her mother to explore numerous factories across California to enhance production.
