Steffanie Rivers is an entrepreneur, educator, and FAA-certified drone pilot whose work centers on expanding access to opportunities within one of the fastest-growing sectors of technology. As founder of TCB Drones Academy, she has helped introduce aspiring pilots, entrepreneurs, and career changers to the practical applications of drone technology while emphasizing education, certification, and long-term workforce development.
Widely recognized as the first Black woman in Texas to register a drone academy, Rivers has built a reputation for helping individuals understand how emerging technologies can create new pathways for income generation, professional advancement, and entrepreneurship. Her academy focuses on preparing students to earn FAA Part 107 certification while also providing guidance on how drone skills can be applied across industries, including infrastructure inspections, mapping, photography, videography, public safety, and commercial operations.
