NEW YORK, NY: The lights of Times Square had even more star power on September 15 as thousands gathered for the 8th Annual Times Square Fashion Week®, an outdoor celebration bringing together fashion, celebrity, music, entrepreneurship, philanthropy and culture in the heart of New York City.

Founded and executive produced by Dee Rivera, CEO of DCG Media Group and producer of Hamptons Fashion Week, Times Square Fashion Week® transformed one of the world’s most recognizable destinations into a live runway and entertainment experience. Designers shared the stage with celebrities, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, media personalities, influencers and performers as crowds experienced fashion beneath the legendary Times Square billboards.

“Eight years ago, I had a vision of creating a fashion platform in Times Square where established names could stand alongside emerging designers, entrepreneurs and young creatives,” Rivera said. “Seeing everyone come together on this global stage reminds me why we created it. It is about fashion, but it is also about access, visibility, community and opening doors.”

Among the notable personalities joining the celebration were philanthropist Jean Shafiroff, serial entrepreneur and CEO Richie Hosein, Stephen Michael, CEO of Propel Earth, celebrity rapper Bobby Shmurda, Netflix’s Owning Manhattan personality Jordan March and Celebrity DJ Rob Beer.

Shafiroff served as Mistress of Ceremonies for special awards presented by Assemblywoman Rebecca Seawright, bringing philanthropy and community recognition into the evening’s festivities.

Hosein took center stage as a host and Master of Ceremonies, welcoming guests and connecting personalities from fashion, business, technology, healthcare, and entertainment.

The runway delivered a diverse mix of styles.

Origin Of Oceans opened with swimwear before Sunskaara introduced its resort collection. Mario B Couture brought glamour and drama to the runway, while Gloria Lee showcased a kimono-inspired collection highlighting artistry and cultural influence.

Miami designer ELO made his Times Square debut with a retro collection inspired by the bold energy and style of the 1980s.

Catherine Schuller added another dimension to the show through Cosplay and Power Pieces that celebrated individuality, storytelling, and fashion as self-expression.

One of the evening’s milestones belonged to luxury handbag brand Daneault, which made its New York runway debut during Fashion Week season and received the Designer of the Year Award.

Known for reversible leather handbags created for women in motion, Daneault combines craftsmanship and sophisticated design with everyday versatility.

Avant-garde jewelry from S Designs completed runway looks with dramatic statement pieces.

Music, Celebrity and Live Entertainment

The event was as much an entertainment experience as it was a fashion show.

Celebrity DJ Rob Beer provided the runway soundtrack, while live performances from Jackson Sturkey and opera singer Ariel Joy brought another level of energy to the outdoor stage.

Beyond the runway, Times Square Fashion Week® expanded into digital media through the Live from Times Square Podcast.

Stephen Michael and Richie Hosein, in collaboration with Steady Ro Studios, connected with designers, entrepreneurs and personalities, giving guests an opportunity to share the stories behind their brands, businesses and careers.

Social purpose also remained part of the celebration.

Times Square Fashion Week® collaborated with the Social Justice Network’s Comic Books for Justice Initiative, presented with Catherine Schuller and founder Terrence Coffie. The initiative works with young people in New York City detention centers, using creativity and storytelling as tools for expression and personal growth.

“Fashion can give people a voice,” Rivera said. “Our platform should not only showcase beautiful clothes; it should create opportunities and make people feel that they belong.”

Partners supporting the 2026 celebration included Steady Ro Studios, Unique Creations Designs, Essentia Water, Tru Fru, Update Energy Drinks and Project One NYC.

After eight years, Times Square Fashion Week® continues to demonstrate that fashion can reach beyond a traditional runway.

In Times Square, celebrities meet designers, entrepreneurs meet audiences, music meets fashion, and New York City itself becomes part of the show.
