Gigi Hadid Showcases Comfortable Fashion in a Yellow Boiler Suit and Uggs in New York City

Gigi Hadid recently demonstrated that vibrant hues are not solely confined to the warmer months.

The model, who is 28 years old, was captured on camera outside her New York City residence on Tuesday, October 17. She was dressed in a striking yellow boiler suit, complemented by a yellow and navy-colored beanie and traditional brown Ugg boots. The boiler suit was designed with a drawstring at the waist, buttons made of tortoise shell, and four pockets on the front. She completed her ensemble with dark, cat-eye sunglasses and a purse in black and white. Hadid opted for a laid-back look, wearing minimal makeup and letting her long, bleach-blonde hair flow in relaxed waves.

Hadid has a well-documented affection for boiler suits. She has consistently shown that this garment is an ideal choice for transitioning between seasons; it’s lightweight yet provides full coverage, and its appearance can be altered depending on the material and chosen accessories.

Her commitment to this versatile item of clothing has been evident for several years, from donning a NASA-branded Alpha Industries boiler suit in 2017, to wearing a glossy, dusty pink boiler suit by Brandon Maxwell at the designer’s New York Fashion Week presentation in 2018, to sporting a white leather boiler suit with multi-colored gloves at Paris Fashion Week in 2019.

After initiating her modeling career at the tender age of two, Hadid chose to explore more creative avenues following the birth of her daughter Khai, who is now 3 years old. In a discussion with W Magazine that was published on September 6, Hadid expressed her desire for a more stable work routine. She sought a job that would allow her to go to the same workplace every day, something she had never experienced before. This would enable her to establish a schedule that accommodated her child, and thus, her high-end cashmere brand, Guest in Residence, came into existence.

Launched in September 2022, the brand offers a vibrant selection of cashmere essentials, including, naturally, her trademark boiler suit.

Although Hadid has been deeply involved in the fashion world for over a decade, she confessed in an October 2022 interview with Vogue that she often experiences imposter syndrome, particularly in her roles as founder and Creative Director.
