«Psychology, nutrition, and health». I am firmly convinced that the state of our health and how we mentally feel are the most important criteria determining our quality of life. It is so. I revolve around a circle of wealthy people, and my clients have always had high incomes. And I can confidently say that if you have health problems or mood issues, or even worse, both, then no luxurious house, yacht, or plane will make you happy. The quality of our life is determined by when we are satisfied and enjoy life. What do these most essential indicators determining the quality of our life depend on, namely health and emotional state? Both are very closely related and depend on several fundamental factors.

As a widely competent specialist in many issues, I have delved deeply into this topic. I am a certified psychologist, life coach, and nutritionist (health coach), and I also have several diplomas related to working with energy and energetics. It is precisely the knowledge in all the areas I have listed that has given me a deep understanding of how our body, soul, and psyche are interconnected.

It is these tonal components that make up the structure of a person: the physical body, mind/consciousness, and energy. The state of your physical body affects your mental self-perception, and your psyche is reflected in the body’s physical condition. One is inseparable from the other.

For example, energy practices such as pranayama and meditation have a substantial effect on mental well-being and the physical condition of the body. Pranayama contributes to Reducing stress, Improving concentration, Energetic recovery, Lowering blood pressure, Easing asthma symptoms, Increasing awareness, Improving sleep quality, Detoxifying the body, and Improving digestion. A diet rich in the essential amino acid tryptophan promotes the production of serotonin.

A person with high serotonin levels is calm, tolerant, kind, and grateful. Legumes, oats, dried dates, peanuts, sesame seeds, pine nuts, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, fish, chicken, turkey, and meat. Thus, by choosing these products, you support the body in producing serotonin. And every cup of coffee releases adrenaline into the blood, a stress hormone. It is also proven that the pineal gland produces DMT, a psychoactive substance structurally resembling melatonin and serotonin, and its activation occurs during meditation.

If you do not nourish the body with healthy, balanced food but eat processed food, a lot of sugar, and drink a lot of alcohol or coffee, then meditation and pranayama will not help you much. I have long understood that the cause of physical and mental problems is stress. Here are some examples of how stress affects our body: Here are 10 points describing the impact of stress on the human body:

  1. Weakening of the immune system: Frequent stress can weaken the immune system, making the body more vulnerable to infections.
  2. Increased blood pressure: Stress can cause temporary elevation of anxiety and chronic stress – long-term problems with the cardiovascular system.
  3. Digestive problems: Stress blocks the digestive process and can provoke stomach disorders, including gastritis, ulcer disease, and changes in appetite.
  4. Headaches: Often, stress becomes the cause of headaches and migraines.
  5. Insomnia: Stress can significantly impair sleep quality, leading to insomnia.
  6. Mood changes: Stress can cause irritability, anxiety, depression, and other mood changes.
  7. Deterioration of cognitive functions: Stress can reduce concentration, memory, and problem-solving.
  8. Skin problems: Stress can cause or exacerbate skin problems, such as acne or eczema.
  9. Muscle tension: Often, stress leads to muscle tension, especially in the neck and shoulders.
  10. weight changes: Stress can lead to weight loss due to decreased appetite or weight gain due to overeating as a coping mechanism. Meditation has the same benefits.

All these are vivid examples of the close connection between emotional state and physical health. Naturally, everything listed works in the opposite direction. That is, eliminating stress adjusts all the listed disorders in the work of the human body.

Working with the psyche in the order of changing perception and interpreting events (cognitive-behavioral therapy) affects the emotional state for the better and, therefore, pulls with it changes in the physical condition and the energy in the form of an influx of energy. And in the opposite direction, constant states of stress drain all power from the body, and a person constantly experiences chronic fatigue.

Balancing bioavailable vitamins according to the deficiencies in the blood test significantly improves physical condition and well-being. In any problems with physical health, including injuries and fractures, it is essential to consider the connection with psychosomatics immediately. Many studies have long proved the close relationship between the two. Excess weight is often associated with psychological traumas, primarily from childhood. Also, Consumption of high-calorie foods and foods with a high carbohydrate and sugar content in large quantities inevitably leads to insulin resistance, which consequently results in excess weight.

What conclusion follows from all this? To be physically healthy and psychologically resilient, it is necessary to consider lifestyle and nutrition, mental state/consciousness, and energetics. Only the balance of all three components grants coveted health and a sense of happiness and satisfaction with life.
