Meet Odessa Feaster, an inspiring American actress whose journey into the world of Hollywood began later than most. The spirit, warmth and enthusiasm she exudes have served her well in her career, propelling her into the mainstream spotlight.
From a young age, Odessa exhibited a passion for acting, declaring to her mother at the age of 8, “The world will one day know my name.” A big dream and a deep knowing that has clearly come to fruition.
Odessa owes her passion for acting to watching old classic Hollywood greats, such as Lena Horne, Dorothy Dandridge and Sidney Poitier.
Known for her versatile and charismatic style, Odessa has more than 45 credits to her name. She starred as Mayor Brady on INSP’S “Blue Ridge” (the movie and series) and has been seen in many other notable movies and TV series, including “Now You See Me,” starring Morgan Freeman and Woody Harrelson; “Mom’s Night Out,” starring Sean Astin and Patricia Heaton; CBS’ “NCIS New Orleans”; “Sacrifice” (BET+ Original Series); and “Tall Girl 2” (Netflix), to name just a few.

Odessa’s acting journey commenced in 2005, a pivotal year marked by Hurricane Katrina’s devastating impact on New Orleans. In search of new talent and stories, Hollywood found Odessa in her hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Her journey began with a featured extra role in “Mr. Brooks” alongside Kevin Costner and Demi Moore. However, it was an unexpected incident on set—being moved into the background for unintentionally upstaging Moore—that catapulted her into the spotlight. Encouraged by a production assistant, Odessa swiftly secured her first agent, marking the beginning of her sudden and accelerated journey in the industry.
Odessa’s determination and love for the arts has continued to be fuel for her to never give up. She says, “Never stop five minutes before the miracle happens. Stay the course and it will manifest.”

Throughout the years, Odessa has invested her time and effort into learning different facets of the film industry. Her eagle-eyed approach and gift for being able to see the big picture has consistently resulted in her ability to make a big impact on a wide range of projects and people.
She is passionate about appearing in front of and behind the camera, and her personal journey is a testament of her dedication to mastering every aspect of the cinematic arts—from directing and producing to cinematography and writing.
In 2022, Odessa, alongside her husband Kevin Feaster, took a bold step into entrepreneurship by establishing two businesses.
Feaster Films & Productions LLC is a full-service production company that offers a comprehensive range of services, providing clients with everything they need to bring their creative visions to life. Most recently, the company celebrated the premiere of its feature film, “The Elite Society.”
“We are excited to announce there are more productions and partnerships in the works, which we will reveal in the coming months,” Odessa states.
The Feaster’s second venture, Raining Manna LLC, is a full-service global agency for the unification of marriage, offering a wide range of services to accommodate couples who are ready to step into committed relationships. The Feasters are sought after for spiritual counseling, known for their invaluable guidance for couples seeking clarity before or after marriage.
She adds, “My husband is an ordained minister, and I am a licensed minister. Together we bring a uniquely qualified support system for couples to help them fully understand their devotion to the marriage covenant.”
Odessa attributes her ability to collaborate with individuals from all walks of life to her upbringing. She witnessed her father, a Reverend, oversee three megachurches in his lifetime. Her parents also modeled goal setting by opening and running several successful businesses.
She says, “My life experiences have instilled an unwavering belief in the power of hard work, determination, and the pursuit of one’s dreams. Because of this, it has inspired me to encourage and mentor women in the entertainment industry and beyond—another passion project of mine.”
As an actress, producer, and now CEO, Odessa Feaster is not only helping others but she is also leaving a legacy for her children and grandchildren. She is making her mark in the world of film, TV and business with a true dedication to bringing diverse stories to the world.
Odessa expresses her passion for seeing a script transform into a visual masterpiece—while emphasizing that the moviemaking process never loses its magic for her.
She says, “Setting a goal and achieving it is a result of laser-like vision toward a purpose. This must be done in the spirit of perseverance and passion and in the face of all challenges. To me, it is a gift from God to do what I do, and for that, I am truly grateful.”
