Prince William Becomes “Excessively Sweaty” When Kate Middleton Prepares Spicy Dishes, “It’s Unattractive”

Princess Kate and Prince William have differing opinions when it comes to culinary matters. The pair talked about their cooking routines while being guests on a BBC Radio 1 episode, which was part of a mental health forum. The episode aired on October 10, coinciding with World Mental Health Day.

During the show, Kate, who is 41 years old, inquired if William, also 41, would be making their evening meal while they were responding to questions from their fans. William responded negatively, humorously suggesting that Kate would likely be the one cooking, probably a curry dish.

Kate chuckled along with William and confirmed that the family would probably have either curry or teriyaki salmon for dinner. She further elaborated that while she can handle spicy foods, William struggles with them. William confessed that excessive spice makes him sweat, which he finds unappealing. To accommodate this, Kate usually adds extra spice to her portion after serving William his less spicy version.

This isn’t the first instance where William has talked about his difficulty with spicy foods. Back in October 2019, during a visit to Pakistan, he expressed his enthusiasm for flavorful but not hot foods. He mentioned that he enjoys spices but can’t handle the heat, even joking that he might need a larger suit due to the amount of food he planned to eat.

Kate also mentioned the challenges of cooking curry for the family, as their children have varying spice tolerances. Their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, have their meals adjusted according to their spice tolerance levels. Kate noted that Charlotte is already quite adept at handling spicy foods.

On October 11, Kate was seen engaging in mental health awareness activities at Nottingham Trent University in London. She took the opportunity to learn about the university’s mental health support systems and emphasized the significance of mental well-being for young individuals.

William also contributed to mental health awareness by visiting the Milton Keynes Blue Light Hub, focusing on the mental health of emergency responders.

The royal couple is touring the U.K. to continue raising awareness about the critical importance of mental health.
