Paris Hilton’s Drive to Infuse New Life into Pop Music through Her Upcoming Album

Paris Hilton has embarked on an ambitious endeavor to reinvigorate the world of pop music, seeking assistance from renowned figures in the music industry. During a recent appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast on December 5, Hilton, aged 42, expressed her excitement about working in the studio with Sia, who is overseeing the production of her complete album. Hilton’s admiration for Sia, 47, was evident as she praised her as “the most brilliant songwriter of our time,” highlighting her gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate. Additionally, Hilton revealed an exciting partnership with Meghan Trainor for her upcoming album, slated for release in 2024. Hilton enthusiastically described the album, boasting contributions from Trainor, as a groundbreaking project poised to revolutionize pop music.

Hilton’s musical journey saw a hiatus following her initial foray into the industry with her debut album “Paris” in 2006. This dance-centric album, featuring hits like “Turn It Up,” “Nothing in This World,” and “Stars Are Blind,” reached the sixth position on the Billboard 200 chart. Despite its success, Hilton shifted her focus to other ventures, notably establishing herself as a globally recognized DJ. In an interview with Billboard in October 2020, Hilton reflected on the unparalleled euphoria and connection she experiences when performing on stage, describing it as an “indescribable feeling” and likening it to being “on top of the world.”

2023 marked Hilton’s return to the music scene. Collaborating with long-time friend and iconic DJ Steve Aoki, Hilton released a single titled “Lighter” in October. This release, as Hilton stated, symbolized the culmination of years of mutual support and memorable experiences shared with Aoki. She envisioned this track as an embodiment of their shared journey, capable of energizing fans on dance floors worldwide.

Following the release of “Lighter” with Aoki, aged 46, Hilton confirmed her return to recording, working on her much-anticipated second album after nearly two decades. This revelation came during an October appearance on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, where she expressed enthusiasm for her ongoing project, signaling a significant comeback in her musical career.
