Amy Robach is commemorating a decade of being free from cancer. The 50-year-old, who formerly co-hosted GMA3: What You Need to Know, took to social media to share her milestone and offer support to those still battling the disease. Robach was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2013, following a live television mammogram. She later revealed on Good Morning America that she would be undergoing a double mastectomy to combat the illness.
After enduring eight cycles of chemotherapy and undergoing breast reconstruction surgery, Robach was declared cancer-free in 2014. To celebrate her regained health, she and her family climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2018. Not one to rest on her laurels, Robach continues to push her physical limits by participating in marathons. She is presently in training for another New York City Marathon.
On the personal front, Robach has recently gone through a divorce and is currently in a relationship with T.J. Holmes. Her journey serves as an inspiring testament to resilience and the human spirit.
