Lost Files: TheBender

Terence B.L. Young’s life has been quite a journey, from the bottom of the barrel lower, class condition in Oakland, CA, to rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in the music and space industry. But what stands out the most about him is his passion for education and philanthropy.

Young’s life began with a humble start in an inner-city lifestyle. Yet, despite the limited economic resources, he was a star from a young age. At just five years old, he began modeling and landed on the cover of Baby Gap stores worldwide. He then ventured into music, singing, and hip-hop, showcasing his talent and passion for creativity.

But Young didn’t stop there. He also excelled in sports, playing as a shooting guard in basketball and starting on the #2 Basketball squads in the United States. At 17, he began his philanthropy work and became a public relations professional. He also delved into the world of trading and asset protection.

What’s remarkable about Young is that he never stopped learning and growing. He even became licensed in the caregiving industry for the elderly. His thirst for knowledge and education is infectious and inspiring.

Young’s recent accomplishments include attending the 2023 Recording Academy’s Person of the Year MusiCares and the Grammys. He also participated at the Arizona State “Space2Inspire” Astronaut Art Gallery hosted by Dr. Sian Proctor, where he met retired space traveler Cady Coleman.

Young is currently focused on an ambitious project that involves a year-round traveling seminar aimed at educating children about how to avoid and combat child sex trafficking and predators. In addition to this, he is also channeling his creativity and expertise into developing a new concept for a TV show on Cartoon Network. His unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the world serves as an inspiration to us all.

Incredibly, Young’s journey is a living testament that even if he came from a complex background, he never let anything stop him from achieving his dreams. He’s an example that no matter where you come from, you can still go somewhere with the right mindset and determination.

Let us draw inspiration from Terence B.L. Young’s journey and persevere in our pursuit of learning and personal growth, even in the face of adversity. By prioritizing education and philanthropy, we can encourage and empower others to do the same.
