Emmys 2024: A Day of Stars and Style at Harvest

By: Press Room

A few weeks out of the year are undeniably the best… the weeks when Hollywood gets together, the glamorous lights of Hollywood unleash its energy, and the stars even break from their sets to have dinner with each other and their fans.

One of these special weeks is the Emmy Awards. This week you feel a buzz in the air—top celebrities, industry leaders, and premier brands converge to celebrate—and if you are one of the lucky ones, you might just get to see extra special things, like the inside of a Heather Marianna premiere gifting lounge.

This year, it was Harvest.

This iconic Hollywood event just took place at the Beverly Hills Marriott, and it was quite the hit to say the least! This event reflected not only the signature glamour of the occasion but some of the latest trend-setters in brand culture, such as InStyler Brands’ long-standing dedication to empowering opportunity communities through innovative programs. Navy veteran and former Hollywood producer, Dan Fugardi, who is now InStyler’s CEO personally represented his company’s participation. On his 4th major event this year, you’ll often find Fugardi in the background helping make things happen alongside other industry magic makers like former pro boxer, Bill Corrigan, who now runs Tripoint Brands and is the shepherd of some of the best growth brands on the market. When questioned about the success of Thursday’s event, Corrigan said “We always do our best to put brands in the right place while contributing meaningfully to the highest quality events, but I couldn’t take any real credit for this one outside of some of the matchmaking that we do well.” Corrigan continued, “The true star of the show who deserves a hat tip is Miss Marianna … she is next level and again pulled off something just spectacular while making it look effortless.”

The multi-talented host, Heather Marianna of the Marianna Group, was indeed the talk of the town as she so gracefully danced through this enchanting atmosphere she orchestrated for VIPs and brands alike.

Among the notable figures who stopped by were Maria Conchita Alonso, from the The Running Man and Vampires vs. Bronx; former NBA star and media personality John Salley; the influential founder of E! Entertainment, Larry Namer; television pro Sofia Milos; major producer Larry Kasanoff, who helped bring us all favorites like Mortal Kombat, True Lies and Terminator; and the stunning five-time Emmy Award winning producer and actress, Celeste Fianna.

We saw a unique array of conscious brands which sported modern features of health and quality … Dulce Vida organic tequila, Mave & Chez, Dave’s Killer Bread, Octava, HiBy, the fine foods of Carbone, the organic KED Cosmetics, the innovative Stelo wearable glucose, Heather Marianna’s very own Beauty Kitchen, and so many more amazing brands that you can find at BeautyBrandCoaching.com

Of course, fresh off the heels of their BET Awards appearance, was InStyler Brands, the leader in hair appliance innovation with a reputation of delivering premium-quality engineered tools at prices far more considerate than the competition. Dan Fugardi is a rare animal at these events as he represents a bona-fide authority in both Hollywood and in the beauty brand space, and InStyler’s presence at the Emmy fete continues to reinforce Fugardi’s support for this industry while simultaneously expanding his beauty portfolio’s footprint into new salon and retail territories. We got a chance to catch up with Dan who told us about his latest push into Las Vegas, Nashville, Tampa, and Denver, where he carefully seeks the best affiliations possible, he explained. When asked to give a peek into what he finds important for his brands in this process, InStyler’s CEO said “I’m always on a search for the best of the best in terms of people, how they operate, and what they stand for.” He later continued, “I recently got a great introduction made by a couple of my trusted Denver business gurus, Alex Lovera and Benson Juarez, who connected me with Peter Kim, the impressive owner and CEO of A1 Beauty Supply, which is soon to be The Hair Store. Peter is a passionate operator who set out in 2023 to be the #1 ranked beauty supply store in Denver and takes pride in seeing that, only a year later, his store has already made it to #2 in sales. He’s aggressive but fair, has strong values as a person, prioritizing the treatment of his staff within a positive and supportive culture. Also, he’s just a cool dude.…and that’s all I need in a partner. These values absolutely transfer to the customer—and is the exact light in which I want our brand to be represented, so I’ve been excited to join Peter’s ambitious vision.”

Fugardi finished, “Once I have confidence in someone like this, what I then love doing just as much is opening up the other side and being the conduit to connecting similarly-principled people. In this case, I next have Mr. Kim set to meet the Founder of Fairche, Vicki Ngyen, a real-deal skin care expert who redefined determination in her years-long mission around the world to find the best ingredients, doctors and scientists for the innovative solutions she now brings to this industry.”
