Arianna Jones, the teen star from the 2018 Sony Pictures Production, Goosebumps 2: Slappy’s Revenge is now set to play the lead role in the new series, Bottom, written by Joseph C. Grant

If you enjoyed the 2018 Sony Pictures release Goosebumps 2: Slappy’s Revenge, you may recall the high school cheerleader, performed by Arianna Jones. Arianna Jones had just turned sixteen and was beginning her cinematic career at this time. Since then, she has landed parts in several motion pictures and television shows, including Blood Money, which also stars Deleesa St. Agathe from Netflix’s The Circle, Dope King, which stars rapper 50 Cent’s son Marquise Jackson, and Roadkill, an action movie with Midnight in the Switchgrass star Caitlin Carmichael.

The emerging star, Arianna, started producing at the age of 21, and her production business, Arianna Jones Productions LLC, was promptly established in December 2022.

Recently, Arianna gave an update on the progress of her ongoing project, a seven-episode television series called Beyond Us that she is writing and producing. According to Arianna, the show will be a sci-fi thriller that addresses contemporary topics like domestic violence, homelessness, gun violence, and police brutality. According to Jones, each of the seven episodes in the series represents one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Along with working on this project, Arianna is presently poised to star as Foxy, the protagonist character, in Joseph C. Grant’s drama series Bottom, which will start filming in early 2023.

Bottom follows a 15-year-old African American girl from New York in the early 1970s as she navigates her way through human trafficking and other vices, after being coerced into prostitution by her father. Foxy is intelligent and well-equipped to manipulate and utilize the people around her to her advantage when navigating the challenges of her day-to-day life as a sex worker because she was forced to mature at a young age.

In addition to her work in acting, writing, and producing, Arianna is a prominent philanthropist and supporter of civil rights in the US.

Arianna was born on November 23, 2000 in Charlottesville, Virginia. In reality, she was inspired to become an activist after seeing the Unite the Right protest in Charlottesville, on August 11, 2017. Growing up, Arianna was a member of Chestnut Grove Church’s youth ministry in her hometown. Having a history of community service experience and motivated by the terrorism and racism that took place in her city, Arianna committed herself to using her knowledge and skills to support her community and advocate for change. Following her graduation from New York University in 2022, Arianna joined the NAACP and is also a sister of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

A major focus of Arianna’s work is honoring and elevating overlooked and misrepresented cultures. Arianna Jones is not only a talented actress and writer, but she is also a dancer, poet, visual artist, and community leader.
